By accessing or using our App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the App.
1. Data Collection: Permissions & Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate our dating App and provide core social features. Below is a detailed breakdown of all data we collect, how it is collected, and from whom:
1.1 Sensitive Personal Information (Collected First, As Required)
We collect the following sensitive personal data only with your explicit, opt-in consent, and solely to enable core dating/social functionality:

We only collect this data while the App is active in the foreground; you may disable location access at any time in your device settings, though this will limit core matching features.

User-Generated Content (UGC): We collect all content you voluntarily upload, post, or share on the App, including profile photos, profile bios, chat messages, voice notes, and other personal content you choose to make public or share with other users. This data is collected directly from you when you submit it, and is visible to other users as per your privacy settings.

Contact Information (Optional): If you choose to link your device’s contact list to the App (via contact permission), we collect your device’s contact names, phone numbers, and email addresses to help you find existing contacts on the platform. We only collect this data with your explicit opt-in permission, and you may revoke access at any time.

We collect the following non-sensitive data automatically or via your voluntary input, to operate and improve the App:

3.Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for any purpose, in compliance with CCPA/CPRA and other applicable state privacy laws. We only share your data in the following limited circumstances:

With Other Users: Your profile information, UGC, and location (as per your privacy settings) are shared with other users of the App to enable social interaction and matching.

With Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App, including cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS), analytics tools (e.g., Firebase), payment processors, and customer support platforms. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and only use it for the purposes we specify.

4. Data Retention & Deletion
4.1 Data Retention

Chat & User Content: We retain chat messages and UGC for 90 days after your account is deleted, to comply with legal and safety requirements, after which it is permanently deleted.

Technical & Usage Data: We retain technical data for up to 24 months, after which it is anonymized or deleted.
4.2 Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time, as outlined in Section 6.

Account Deletion: You may delete your account directly in the App’s settings, or by submitting a deletion request to us via the contact information below. Upon receipt of a valid request, we will permanently delete all of your personal data (excluding data we are required to retain by law) within 45 calendar days, in compliance with CCPA/CPRA and other state laws.

Partial Data Deletion: You may request deletion of specific data (e.g., photos, chat history) without deleting your entire account by contacting us.

Retention for Legal Obligations: We may retain certain data as required by law (e.g., tax records, fraud prevention data) for the period mandated by applicable regulations, even after you request deletion.
5. Your User Rights
In compliance with U.S. state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, CDPA, CPA, etc.) and Google Play requirements, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to Access: You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you, free of charge, once per 12-month period.

6. Security of Your Data
We implement industry-standard technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, regular security audits, and employee training on data protection. However, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
7. Children's Privacy
Our App is intended for use by individuals aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will immediately delete the data and terminate the account.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or App features. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and within the App, and we will obtain your consent if required by law.
